Tamarack Lodge
The Property
Situated on nearly four acres of land one mile from Tahoe City, Tamarack Lodge is a great spot for your next getaway or vacation. The cabins and “poker rooms” are genuinely “Old Tahoe”, and have long been guest favorites. All of the rooms in the two-story building have been improved in recent years, and compare well to other North Tahoe offerings, even those costing more.

Some History
In 1927 Tamarack was a Speakeasy with a six card rooms, a bar, a small cabin, and a few rooms upstairs for overnight guests. Angelo Oppio, great-grandfather of the current manager, drew a good hand, and played it well. He won half of Tamarack one night, and later bought the other half.
