Some History
Originally three separate motels, The Green Lantern, The Royal Coachman, and Tahoe West Motor Lodge, the property was built as part of the tourism boom from the 1960 Winter Olympics at what was then Squaw Valley, formally putting Lake Tahoe on the map as a world-class winter sports destination. The new name is a nod to The Royal Coachman and to the history of South Lake Tahoe.
