Flamingo Resort

The Property

The Flamingo Resort is a mid-century marvel in The Valley of the Moon. The buildings, rendered with natural materials and iconic angular silhouettes, are the work of master architect Homer A. Rissman. Set on a 10-acre campus, it is an incomparable property for both its city access and sense of complete retreat.

Santa Rosa is the largest city in Sonoma Wine Country. Home to 425+ wineries, the region has 18 American Viticultural Areas (AVAs), or appellations, each with its own distinctive characteristics. Area activities include: hot air ballooning, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, skydiving, deep sea fishing, Redwood ziplining, car racing, cannabis and microbrewery tours.

Some History

The Flamingo Hotel was built in 1957 and designed by architect George Bernard Russell, the same architect as the original Las Vegas Flamingo. An immediate success, it drew celebrities and jet-setters to its oversized pool and courtyard.
