Some History
1962 was an exciting time with Seattle's hosting of the World's Fair. It was also a big year for West Seattle, including when the Grove opened, offering convenient accommodations for Fair visitors. The hotel has seen its fair share of changes, but it was not until 2010 - when the new owners purchased the property and re-opened it as The Grove in July 2011 - that The Grove took on a fresh look, and a refreshing new take on welcoming, clean, and comfortable lodging.
