The Lincolnville Motel is a getaway destination in a beautiful part of Midcoast Maine. A refreshed 1950s roadside motor inn, the motel offers six wooden guest cabins and four spacious motel rooms, all with views of the ocean and open fields. Rooms and cabins are minimally appointed, with an emphasis on quality bedding, clean design, and a little bit of fun.
Where are we?
The motel located is just north of the town of Camden and just south of the village of Lincolnville Beach. Lincolnville is a great place to relax and an convenient base for day trips. The shoreline is easily accessible nearby, many excellent hikes afford amazing ocean views, and an array of local outfitters rent boats, bikes, paddle boards, offer sailing and fishing trips and all kinds of wholesome experiences. There are also a number of respected galleries, cultural institutions, dining and shopping destinations.
The property was originally developed as a motel in the 1950s and has been in operation for many years. It was purchased and refreshed by Alice Amory in the spring of 2015 and opened as the Lincolnville Motel in the summer of 2015. All of the original structures remain, but have been pared down and refreshed with a liberal use of white paint. The result is simple and minimal, creating a place to unplug, unwind and enjoy 100% cotton sheets.
