Some History
This hedged two-acre estate, was designed in 1922 by Santa Barbara architect and Spanish Colonial Revival specialist George Washington Smith, hired by the heirs of the Pierce Arrow Motor Company, known as the "American Rolls-Royce." Ruth Hardy's invitation-only hideout, Ingleside entered Hollywood social circles, and legendary figures such as Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando, and Elizabeth Taylor signed the register.
