Casa Laguna
The Property
Casa Laguna is a 23-room Motique® perched on a hillside above Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, California, with five buildings connected by winding garden pathways and sweeping views of the Pacific. The property dates to the early 1920s and has operated as a hotel since 1946, serving as an artists' colony through much of the 1970s before being fully restored in 2016. The design draws from the property's Spanish Colonial bones, layered with Moorish tiles, Catalina ceramics, hand-troweled walls, and arched doorways throughout. The heated hillside pool sits at the top of the property with the ocean in front of it, and the Estrella Spa offers indoor and outdoor treatments just steps away. A continental breakfast is served each morning to get you right before heading out to explore. The beach is just a short walk down the hill.

Some History
Casa Laguna's main building was constructed in the early 1920s as a private hillside residence. It became a hotel in 1946 and served as an artists' colony through the 1970s before a full restoration in 2016 returned it to one of the most distinctive properties on the Southern California coast.
