The Leeway is a nine-suite Motique® on six riverfront acres along the Esopus Creek in Mount Tremper, New York, in the heart of the Catskills. Originally opened as a motel in the 1950s, the property was fully reimagined into cabin-style suites with full kitchens, private decks, mountain views, and rustic-chic interiors featuring handcrafted wood furnishings, ethically made rugs, Marshall speakers, and Brooklinen bedding. Outside, fire pits, hammocks, grilling areas, picnic tables, and lawn games sit alongside private creek access. The property is 2.5 hours from New York City.

The Leeway sits on Route 28 in Mount Tremper, three miles from Phoenicia's main street and ten miles from Woodstock. Hiking trails, swimming holes, and ski slopes are all within easy reach, and the Esopus Creek runs directly along the property.

Some History
The Leeway's property has been a motel site since the 1950s, operating over the decades before being purchased and fully renovated into the nine-suite Catskills Motique® it is today. The creekside setting along the Esopus has remained the defining feature throughout.
