Outpost Inn
The Property
Outpost Inn is a 14-room Motique® a short walk from Main Street in Highlands, North Carolina, housed in a cluster of early 20th-century buildings that have been a part of the town for over a hundred years. The design draws from old-school summer camp aesthetics and mid-century Appalachian charm, with colorful quilts, vintage rugs, record players with curated vinyl, and typewriters in every room. Nine of the 14 rooms have gas fireplaces. The lobby lounge doubles as a coffee bar by morning and a natural wine bar by evening, open to guests and locals alike.
