Avalon Hotel
The Property
Avalon Hotel and Bungalows is a 67-room Motique® set on four acres of manicured gardens in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, California. The property dates to the 1930s and has been a Hollywood gathering spot ever since. Spanish Colonial architecture anchors the grounds, with 54 guestrooms and 13 private bungalows spread across citrus-scented gardens, three pools, fire pits, and private cabanas. The on-site Chi Chi Restaurant serves California-fresh cuisine poolside all day, and the Estrella Spa offers a full menu of indoor and outdoor treatments.

Some History
The Avalon Hotel and Bungalows has occupied its four-acre site in downtown Palm Springs since the 1930s, when it served as a retreat for Hollywood's Golden Age crowd. The property was redesigned in 2003 into the Spanish Colonial-meets-Hollywood Regency Motique® it is today.
